Met Gala 2015 review

This years Gala theme was China so let's look who won the red carpet challenge and who missed their chase to shine.

Best collaborations:
Julianne Moore and Givenchy (Riccardo Tisci)
flaming red hair and black classic cut encrusted dress makes it to the top list

Georgia May Jagger and Gucci (Alessandro Michele)
east style patterns and side hairdo is a subtile hint to the China topic

FKA twigs and Christopher Kane
modern painting inspired dress doesn't really go with this years Gala dress code but because of the artistic vibe and beautiful colour match it wins my heart

Tom Ford and Rita Ora
blood red dress with an east type of collar brings Rita to the top level of the fashion game

Sienna Miller and Thakoon (Thakoon Panichgul)
again red but this time pats suit with a oh-so traditional east accessories - silk tassels

Best dressed couple:
Paul Bettany and Jennifer Connelly, both in Louis Vuitton
I know they are not the most topic-orientedly dressed but they both are so good-looking

Anna Ewers and Sasha Pivovarova, both in Balenciaga
oh, Anna! why you always have to look so good?

Adriana Lima, in Marc Jacobs
bring me the head (the king said once)

Vanessa Hudgens, in custom H&M, with a Gigi Burris Millinery headpiece
there is something very Chinese in this look

Emily Ratajkowski, in custom Topshop
Chinese pottery inspired dress is good choice to make

Liya Kebede, in custom 3.1 Phillip Lim
again not straight interpretation of the event theme but a very successful look

the very right Maggie Q in custom Tory Burch
is the leader in the fashion group game
the cut of the dress is a unique China theme interpretation and it makes her the start of the evening

Lily Aldridge, in Carolina Herrera
subtile, elegant cut and perfectly matching dress colour with the skin tone, also great make-up, hairstyle and accessories
so yes, by far everything is perfect.
Great job Lily!

Alexa Chung, in Erdem
again east type of pattern and plus this time baby blue slip-ons with pink perfect length dress is a new twist to the China style interpretation game

Maryna Linchuk and Natasha Poly
Natasha makes a great move with her top head hair pulled back

Dree Hemingway in Coach
rioting Dree likes breaking dress code rules but I mean look at her - she plays it even smarter
combining classic cut skirt with a biker leather west and dark lipstick is a total style explosion

and of course the sensational
Sarah Jessica Parker in custom H&M with a Philip Treacy headdress
cannot believe this stunning dress from H&M and even more hard to see Sarah wearing this brand
and choosing iconic Philip Treacy creation to combine it with is just genius!
